Deepfake blackmail, stalkers, ride safety, workplace harassment

Most online abuse in Pakistan targets women โ€” fake profiles, edited photos used for blackmail, persistent stalkers, unsafe rides. You are not powerless and you are never the one who should feel ashamed. These lessons show exactly how to lock down your accounts, document abuse, involve NCCIA, and stay safe in the physical world too.

๐Ÿงญ Your learning path

Start at the top โ€” 10 minutes a day is enough.

๐Ÿ“š Quick lessons

12 practical cards โ€” read one, apply it today.

๐ŸŽฏ Decide it yourself

Real situations. Tap an answer, see what happens. (Women edition)

๐Ÿ‘€ WhatsApp Stalker Pressure medium

You are Hira, a final-year university student in Lahore. An unknown number has been messaging you on WhatsApp for weeks with compliments, then threats about knowing your route home. Today they sent a blurry photo taken outside your hostel gate. Your friends say just ignore it. You feel watched but unsure if it is serious.

๐Ÿ’ก Stalking is a crime, not a misunderstanding. Block immediately, preserve every screenshot with timestamp and the sender's number, then report at NCCIA 9911. Tell one trusted family member too. Silence rewards predators; dated evidence plus formal reporting is what actually stops them.

๐Ÿ’ผ Job Offer With a Fee easy

You are Sana, 27, in Karachi, browsing a Facebook group for women. A 'sister-run' home-typing job promises Rs. 35,000 weekly. After a friendly WhatsApp interview, the HR contact asks you to pay a Rs. 4,500 'registration and training fee' via EasyPaisa before starting. You really need the income. Your screen shows the payment screen. What do you do?

๐Ÿ’ก Real employers never charge registration, training, or kit fees; that is the single biggest red flag in Pakistani online work scams. Save screenshots of the job post, chat, and number, then report the page and EasyPaisa account to NCCIA. Refusing to pay protects you and helps shut the scam for the next woman.

๐Ÿšถ A Stalker at University medium

You are Hira, 21, a university student in Islamabad. For two weeks, a classmate has been waiting outside your department, learning your routine, and messaging you from four different numbers after you blocked him. Yesterday he followed your Careem home. You feel watched but not yet physically threatened. Your phone is unlocked. What is the smartest next step today?

๐Ÿ’ก Stalking is a documented pattern, not a misunderstanding, and early paper trails save lives. Tell family, start a dated log of every incident with screenshots, and report through NCCIA and your university. Isolation and silence are what stalkers depend on; visibility and evidence are what stop them.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Blackmail After an Edited Photo medium

You are Ayesha, 24, a marketing intern in Lahore. A man you briefly chatted with on Instagram has sent you a doctored, intimate-looking photo of you and is demanding Rs. 80,000 or he will share it with your family on WhatsApp. He threatens to tag your father. You feel panic rising, but your hands are steady. Your phone is in front of you. What is your first move?

๐Ÿ’ก When intimate or doctored images are used to extort you, never pay, never delete, and never negotiate. Preserve every screenshot, number, and UPI-style transfer ID, then report to NCCIA through 9911 or their official portal. Paying once guarantees a second demand. Evidence-backed complaints are how Pakistan stops sextortion rings against women.

๐Ÿ’ผ Typing Job Registration Fee easy

You are Sana, 22, a student in Faisalabad. A WhatsApp message from a 'HR Manager' offers daily Rs. 3,000 for online typing work, no experience needed. They ask you to send Rs. 4,500 'registration fee' to an EasyPaisa account in someone else's CNIC name before training starts. Many girls in your group chat have already paid. What do you do?

๐Ÿ’ก Any online job that asks Pakistani workers for an upfront registration, training, or ID-card fee is a scam, including typing, reselling, and 'like' tasks. The correct habit is: reverse-image the offer, refuse to pay before work, block the sender, warn your WhatsApp group, and report the EasyPaisa or JazzCash number to NCCIA on 9911. Real employers never collect fees from applicants.

๐Ÿ‘€ Same Person, Three Places hard

You are Mehwish, 28, in Karachi. Over the past two weeks you noticed the same man at your gym, outside your office in Clifton, and one evening parked across your house in Bahadurabad. Yesterday he smiled and waved near your car. He has sent a few polite Instagram messages too. You have not replied. What should you do tonight?

๐Ÿ’ก Stalking is a pattern of presence plus contact, not a single coincidence. The correct habit for Pakistani women is to start a dated written log, save screenshots, tell a trusted male or female relative the same day, and report via NCCIA 9911. Never engage directly, never go alone to confront, and never delete evidence, because patterns are what police need.

๐Ÿ“ธ Edited Photo Demands Money medium

You are Ayesha, 24, in Lahore. A stranger on WhatsApp claims he has an edited, intimate-looking photo of you created from your public Instagram selfies. He demands Rs. 80,000 via JazzCash or he will send the file to your family WhatsApp groups. He already has your father's number. Your hands are shaking and you feel ashamed. What is your first move?

๐Ÿ’ก Never pay, never negotiate, never reply. Edited intimate images are a common sextortion tactic against Pakistani women. The safe habit is: preserve evidence (screenshots with his number, timestamps, JazzCash ID), block all channels, alert one trusted family member, and report to NCCIA on 9911 or pwd.gov.pk. Silence plus a written complaint is what stops them.

๐Ÿš— Late-Night Ride Home easy

You are Hira, an HR officer in Karachi. It's 11:40 pm and you just finished a long shift in Gulshan. You open a ride-hailing app to get home to North Nazimabad. Before you get in, what is the single most important safety routine you should follow to make this trip genuinely safer, end to end?

๐Ÿ’ก Before any ride-hailing trip at night, run the four checks: plate, car model, driver photo in app, and share the live trip with audio on to a trusted contact while sitting in the back seat. These small habits turn a passive rider into a traceable, harder-to-target passenger, and they cost you almost no extra time.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ A Stalker Who Won't Stop easy

You are Sana, a university student in Islamabad. A classmate you politely rejected keeps sending you long messages, follows you between classes, and yesterday he showed up at your family's gate in Rawalpindi 'just to talk.' Your sister saw him too. He knows your route home. Your family does not fully realize how serious this is yet. What should you do first?

๐Ÿ’ก Stalking is a pattern crime, not a misunderstanding. Tell family and trusted friends immediately, keep a dated log of every contact and sighting, and report through the NCCIA cyber crime portal so location, device, and timestamp evidence can be preserved. Involving your support network is not 'overreacting'; it is the safest, smartest move.

๐Ÿ“ธ Edited Photo Extortion on WhatsApp medium

You are Ayesha, a marketing assistant in Lahore. A man you briefly chatted with on WhatsApp has sent you a doctored intimate photo of you and is demanding Rs 50,000 to delete it, threatening to share it with your family and coworkers. Your hands are shaking. He has your number and your workplace details. You have not paid anything yet. What is your safest first move right now?

๐Ÿ’ก In deepfake or edited-photo sextortion, the first rule is: do not pay, do not argue, do not forward. Preserve every screenshot, chat, number, and timestamp, then file a complaint on the NCCIA cyber crime portal and helpline 9911 so investigators can trace the account. Going silent, backed by solid evidence, is your strongest position.

๐ŸŒŸ After Being Bullied, Being Kind medium

After months of being bullied, you finally have support and want to help other kids who are targeted.

๐Ÿ’ก Your experience can become a strength. Supporting others, speaking up against bullying, and being kind turns your pain into purpose. Healing grows when you help others heal too.

๐Ÿ˜ˆ Pressured to Send Mean Messages medium

Your friends pressure you to send a cruel message to a classmate, saying you are a coward if you refuse.

๐Ÿ’ก Sending cruel messages is cyberbullying, and refusing is real courage. Say no firmly, encourage your friends to be kind instead, and tell an adult if the pressure continues.

๐ŸŒŠ Whole Class Ganged Up Online hard

An entire class group chat turned against one student, flooding him with cruel messages all night.

๐Ÿ’ก When a whole group bullies one person, the harm is severe. Leave the chat, message the target privately with support, save evidence, and tell a trusted adult and the school immediately.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ Bullying a Teacher Online medium

Students created a page dedicated to mocking a teacher with edited photos and cruel posts.

๐Ÿ’ก Mocking teachers online is cyberbullying that disrespects educators and can get students suspended. Do not follow or share the page, report it, and tell a trusted adult. Respect matters for everyone.

๐Ÿšจ Something happened โ€” do these steps now

Scammed, threatened, blackmailed or hacked? Work top to bottom. Do not pay, do not delete.

๐ŸงŠ Stop โ€” don't pay, don't reply, don't delete

Paying a blackmailer never ends it. Replying teaches the scammer you respond. Deleting chats destroys your own evidence. Take a breath and move to step 2.

๐Ÿ“ธ Preserve the evidence

Screenshot everything with the sender's number/username and time visible: chats, calls list, SMS, transaction receipts, URLs. Export the WhatsApp chat (Settings โ†’ Chats โ†’ Export). Write down amounts, dates and the number used.

๐Ÿฆ Freeze the money path

Money sent? Call your bank or JazzCash/EasyPaisa helpline immediately (number on the back of your card / the official app) and ask them to block the card, freeze the account and recall the transfer. Note the complaint number they give you.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Report to NCCIA

NCCIA (National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency) is Pakistan's cybercrime agency. File a complaint on the official NCCIA complaint portal or visit your nearest cybercrime circle โ€” bring your CNIC and the evidence from step 2. You can also call the cybercrime helpline 1991.

๐Ÿ”‘ Secure your accounts

From a different (clean) device, change the password of the hacked account first, then everywhere you reused it. Turn on two-step verification (WhatsApp, email, bank apps). Check active login sessions and kick out unknown devices.

๐Ÿค Tell one trusted person

Shame belongs to the scammer, not you. Tell a parent, spouse, friend or teacher โ€” they can help you complete the steps and speak to NCCIA with you. For women and children, the Madadgar national helpline 1121 also guides you.

15 โ€” Police emergency 1991 โ€” NCCIA cybercrime helpline 1121 โ€” Madadgar helpline (women & children)

Helpline numbers and complaint links can change โ€” verify on the official NCCIA and PTA websites before sharing.
